months, and Gale would like to thank all who contributed. The fantastic sum of £2060.56

John Beck,Chief Executive of Ayrshire Cancer Support attended Loudoun Gowf Club to accept another bumper cheque for £7,900 from Robin Gebbie, Club Captain. A total of 64 teams from all over Ayrshire took part in the event. Every hole was sponsored by companies and individuals and a large number of prizes were awarded during the day. The team event was won by D Newall, R Deane, C Ross and R McPike of Loudoun Gowf Club with a score of 112 (best 2 scores from 4). Visit the Ayrshire Cancer Support site on:

John Beck,Chief Executive of Ayrshire Cancer Support attended Loudoun Gowf Club to accept another bumper cheque for £8,425 from Bill Morton, Club Captain. This value was later increased to £8,500 and then matched by Diageo, giving a magnificent total of £17,000. A total of 58 teams from all over Ayrshire took part in the event. Every hole was sponsored by companies and individuals and a large number of prizes were awarded during the day. The team event was won by John McCartney, Gordon Hamilton, Tom Morton and Martin Spence of Loudoun Gowf Club with a score of 116 (best 2 scores from 4).

Again, a great day was had by all the competitors, even though the weather at times was decidedly wintery! The magnificent sum of £8253 was raised in the day. Below shows the Club Captain, Robert Frame presenting the cheque, along with his wife Rhona to John Beck (Chief Executive of the charity). The winners on the day were member Robert Wren and his team (pictured below).
