The Centenary Week was started with a very successful Hickory Challenge. Played over 8 holes as a shotgun, at 4 different times throughout the day, many members tasted golf as it used to be played. Some members also dressed for the occasion. Using the stableford format, the maximum points scored on the day was 15. A good score considering the number of clubs in the bag (6 instead of the normal 14). As you can see from the pictures below, good weather led to a good day.
