The winning "Ayrshire Select" Ryder Cup team, victorious at last! 4.5 to 1.5

The inaugural Hendrie Greensomes was won by Sally Hamilton and Kelly McNee.
14 Teams competed for the Adams Quaich, now in its 4th year, this is proving to be a popular competition. The winners, with 131 were Jennie Webb, Ann Smith and Jean Stevenson
July
23 Past Captains competed for the Salver on the 27th, Liz Keohone won with a 72, followed by Gale Macpherson (74) and Jessie Young (75), Jessie Telfer won the putting prize with 29 putts.
June
27th - Mary Drummond Social Mixed foursomes was won by Sally & Gordon Hamilton with a 62.5 pipping Pat & Michael Duffy by 1 shot. Pictured above is Captain Margaret with the victorious couple.
21st - The annual Captain versus Vice-Captain challenge was competed for by 28 ladies in Matchplay format, for the second year running, Vice- Captain Helen was victorious 5 - 2. Helen is pictured above receiving the Picture from Margaret.

3rd - Captain Margaret Hendrie hosted her Captain’s Prize, another great day was had by the 49 ladies taking part in this stableford format competition, the winner, with 42 points was Sally Hamilton (on the BIH), the rest of the results are below:

May
17th - the ladies had their annual outing to Girvan.
27 ladies took part and with the weather kind, the winning team were Margo Dubrey, Irene Tasker and Margaret Templeton.
27th– The Invitation foursomes was won by new member Edith Fulton and Linda Connolly.

The winners of the Mixed Open - Jean & Stan Stevenson with a 69.5 receiving the trophy from Lady Captain Gale Macpherson.
Winners of the Quaich were Jean Stevenson, Mhairi Macnamee and Margaret Merrick with a magnificent 120. The best 2 net scores per hole were counting. Our thanks to Sheila & Tom for the "refreshments" at the 9th.
JULY 09
The Past Captains winner was Aileen Anderson with a 73. The Scotch 4's was won by Robert Wren and Joan Pediani
JUNE 09
1st - Captain V's Vice captain was won by the Vice Captain Margaret Hendrie by 6 points to 3. Both Gale & Margaret thank all the ladies who contested the annual event. The winner of the Captains Prize with a net 66 was Mhairi Macnamee. The winners of the Mary Drummond Salver with a net 71 were Gary & Katrina McCormack.
MAY 09
28th May – The Invitation foursomes was won by Anne Gillion and her partner Liz Lundie from Irvine Golf Club, both are above being presented by Lady Captain Gale Macpherson.

One of our Open "stalwarts" achieved a great victory at the St Cuthbert Ladies Open on the 22nd May. With a magnificent 67, Joan McCall (pictured above with the Lady Captain Eileen Chord) won the Rankin Smith Trophy. Joan also achieve a reduction of 2 strokes in her handicap. Since it's inception in 1977, Joan is the 3rd Loudoun Lady to win the cup. Well done Joan!
The Ladies ventured to East Kilbride Golf Club for their annual outing on the 18th May. Although the showery weather hampered the golf, it didn't hamper the spirits. Twenty one ladies enjoyed a good day out with the tri of Kate, Joan and Jean coming out on top.
